When to go to Chefchaouen?
Chefchaouen is located in the north of Morocco, at an altitude of 600 metres in the Rif mountains, with a population of just over 45,000.
Chefchaouen has a hot, dry Mediterranean climate in summer. Over the year, the average temperature in Chefchaouen is 20°C and rainfall averages 650 mm.
The best months to visit Chefchaouen are May, June, July, August, September and October.
However, it is possible to visit the Blue City during the rest of the year, with a very cold climate during the winter (between December and January).
